Hace unos días dos sexactivistas del movimiento internacional FEMEN, han irrumpido en el altar mayor de la Catedral de la Almudena en Madrid para protestar contra el avance de la ley de Gallardón sobre el aborto en España, que pretende imponer el castigo económico de la mujer que aborte.
Coincidiendo con el día en que el Consejo General se reúne para tomar una decisión acerca de nuestro derecho a decidir, las activistas se han encadenado a la cruz de Juan de Mena del altar, bajo el lema «el aborto es ilegal, vamos a tomar el altar». Según la nueva ley, si nos quitan el derecho al aborto y no tenemos clínicas u hospitales donde hacerlo con seguridad, vamos a volver al oscurantismo y la clandestinidad. Esta es la razón por la que FEMEN propone y anima a todas las mujeres españolas al asalto de sus iglesias y sus catedrales, a recuperar por la fuerza lo que el gobierno está quitando a la fuerza: nuestro derecho a elegir!
Si no se respeta nuestra libertad, no respeten sus templos! Un lugar sagrado para un derecho sagrado! No podemos esperar más, tenemos que reaccionar a este Estado español de Inquisición moderna. Torquemada se sentiría orgulloso de Gallardón, que ha tomado su relevo, convirtiendo a cualquier mujer a favor del aborto como una criminal.
El aborto es un derecho, el cuerpo de la mujer es la libertad de las mujeres. Este es sólo un paso más en nuestra guerra santa por nuestros derechos! Sus crucifijos no nos asustan, ni sus prisiones, las mujeres seguirán teniendo abortos legales o ilegales. Pero no vamos a considerar el segundo!

Abortion is sacred
Today two sextremists of the international movement FEMEN, have burst into the main altar of the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid to protest against the advance of Gallardón’s law about abortion in Spain, that is imposing a new measure where the woman who aborts is economically punished by a fine.
Coinciding with the day in which the General Criminal Council meets to make a decision about our right to decide, the activists have chained to the crucifix of Juan de Mena of the altar under the slogan «abortion is illegal, let’s take the altar». According to the new law, if they take our right to abortion and we have no clinics or hospitals where do it safely, we will return to obscurantism and hiding. This is why FEMEN proposes and encourages all Spanish women to assault its churches and its cathedrals, to recover by force what the government is removing by force: our right to choose!
If they do not respect our freedom, do not respect their temples! A sacred place for a sacred right! We cannot wait any longer, we have to react to this Spanish State of the modern Inquisition. Torquemada would be proud of Gallardon, who has taken his relay, taking any pro-abortion woman as a criminal.
Abortion is a right, women’s body is women’s freedom. This is just one step in our holy war for our rights! Thier crucifixes don’ t frighten us, nor your prisons, women will continue to have abortions legally or illegally. But we will not consider the second one!
